The Executive Director of the Dennis Institute of Public Speaking Derrick Dennis is calling on the West African Examination Council (WAEC) to address the plight of citizens who lost their loved ones on the Nico Ivanka before administering the exams in September.
Speaking to reporters Monday Dennis said families of the victims who lost their lives on the ship are planning to disrupt the Exam if WAEC does not address their plights.
He maintained that the government through the Ministry of Education and WAEC take seize of the matter to address the concerns of the angry families.
Meanwhile, Darric Dennis said the education system in Liberia is challenged, adding that more needs to be done by educational stakeholders to improve the system.
He said the issue of Teachers’ recruitment and the monitoring and evaluation process are major factors facing the government and private schools administrators in the country.
