The Management of Aminata and Sons Incorporated has disclosed that the truck which fell off at the intersection of Buchanan and Front Streets over the weekend was contracted by the Company, and carried its emblem.
A release issued by Aminata & Sons Sunday said the Company regrets the situation which led to a huge fire outbreak resulting in the destruction of several businesses, loss of several properties, and injuries to many.
The Company says it sincerely regrets the incident and has assured the Public that the insurance covering the truck was informed in time about the accident and is actively working with the Liberia National Police while the matter is being addressed.
The release furthered that Aminata & Sons will continue to engage all parties (the insurance company, the police, the owner of the truck, and the victims) to bring an amicable solution to the disaster.
Meanwhile, the Company has lauded the government of Liberia through the Fire Service Agency for its timely response, the Liberia National Police, the Monrovia City Corporation, and all relevant actors who were involved in responding to the incident which prevented further damage.
