Aggrieved Staffers of the Legislature Tuesday blocked the main entrances to the Capitol Building in demand of their 16th month’s harmonization benefits promised them.
According to the Chair of the aggrieved Staffers Benjamin Myers, for too long they have struggled to receive their just benefits.
Myers at the same time disclosed to Legislative Reporters that Lawmakers are planning to squander Staffers benefits entitled them.
Responding to the aggrieved staffers, the Chairman on Rules and Order at the Legislature, Nimba County District #9 Representative Johnson Gwaikolo, and Ways Means and Finance Chair Thomas Fallah promised to work with their colleagues to ensure they receive their benefits.
The Lawmakers however urged the aggrieved Staffers to remain patient and law-abiding as they seek redress to their plight.
