Monrovia- Liberia US-based organization, Liberians Association of Georgia Tuesday presented 15 Oxygen tanks and four hundred sixty masks to the John F Kennedy Medical Hospital and six Oxygen tanks to the Star Base Treatment Center to fight COVID-19.
Marking the presentation, the Deputy Director for the organization, Robert Garguah said the donation of Oxygen tanks is the organization’s only way of joining Liberians in the fight of COVID-19 out of the country.
According to Garguah, the Liberian Association of George deem it necessary to with the health sector during a time of difficulties like the coronavirus pandemic in the country
He said the four hundred sixty masks are the organization’s own way of the identity with nurses who are fighting the virus to protect themselves on duties.
Garguah used the occasion to call on all well-meaning Liberians in and out of Liberia to put their political difference aside and come together for the development of the nation.
He said is now time for Liberian to do away with politic and involved into things that will develop the country.
Meanwhile receiving the donation on behalf of the Administration of JFK, the Director of Nursing Roselyn Ballah lauded the organization for their timely intervention adding that the donation is welcoming.
She said in these kinds of the difficult time the Administration of Hospital expects kinds gustier from well-meaning Liberian especially those from the US.
