The Managing Director of the Liberia Water and Sewer Corporation Duannah Kamara has called on workers of the LWSC to be robust and rigorous in the discharge of their duties.
Speaking Wednesday, when he convened a mass meeting with the workforce which brought together senior and Junior Managers at the LWSC, Kamara said it is now time for all workers to be rigorous on their duties.
According to him his return to the Corporation is a chance to do the right things, adding that whatever has been perceived by both his employees and the public was false and misleading.
The LWSC Managing Director Kamara further told staffers that under the new LWSC, there will be absolutely no space for any form of ineffectiveness and delinquency on the job.
This was his first meeting with workers at the LWSC following his reinstatement by President Weah as managing Director of the Corporation.
He said his reinstatement by the President at the Corporation was followed by the General Auditing Commission report of audit that found him not guilty of an alleged Corruption allegation.
Kamara however threatened to take drastic administrative actions ranging from suspension to dismissal against any employee who is found of abandoning their jobs.
The reinstated LWSC Managing Director lauded the GAC for conducting the audit at his institution and lauded the World Bank for its continued support to the Corporation.
For their part, employees of the Liberia Water and Sewer Corporation welcomed back Kamara and thanked President Weah for reinstating.
