With the first leg of the TotalEnergies CAF Champions League preliminary rounds set to be played between September 10-12, the African soccer governing body has started appointing match officials for this weekend’s activities.
The football body on Wednesday, September 8, 2021, appointed four Liberia match officials to take charge of the match involving Fortune FC ( Gambia) and ES Setif FC ( Algeria).
According to information from the Confederation of African Football, Moses Forkpah will severe as the center referee while the trio of Joel Doe and Abraham Fahnbulleh will work as Assistant Referees 1 and 2 while George Rogers will serve as reserved referee.
Also, CAF named Joel A. Barros from Cape Verde as match commissioner and the name of the assigned Coronavirus Doctor still remains unknown to the public.
Fortune FC will host ES Serif on Saturday, 11th September 2021 in Banjul before traveling to Algeria for the return leg between 17-19 September.
The winner of the two legs will proceed to the next round of this season CAF Champions League.
