The campus-based Progressive Students Alliance at the state-run University of Liberia has called on the government through the administration of the University of Liberia to immediately address the demands of the University of Liberia Faculty Association.
PROSA in a release issued over the weekend called on the UL administration to restore constitutional student government through free, fair, and transparent elections.
The release added that PROSA has identified issues posing risks to achieving quality tertiary education at the nation’s premier institute of higher learning.
They want the university to carry out renovation on buildings at the various campuses, and to ensure there is electricity, water, internet connectivity, availability of identification cards among others at the University.
PROSA is therefore calling on the UL’s administration and government to immediately address the demands of the University Faculty Association ULFA.
PROSA has meanwhile given the UL Administration a seventy-two-hour ultimatum to address the issues with immediate effect noting that failure to do such will result to protest.
