The Ministry of Gender, Children, and Social Protection has ended a day-long workshop, aimed at presenting its three years strategic work plan to five donors and civil societies’ organizations in Monrovia.
The day-long workshop which brought together USAID, Action AID, civil society actors, and other line ministries and agencies was intended to strategize plans.
Speaking at the start of the workshop, Gender Minister Willamette Saydee Tarr said the gathering was basically intended to present the ministry of gender formulated plans in tackling sexual and gender-based violence in Liberia.
According to Minister Tarr, the presentation was also aimed at appealing and soliciting funds from partners working with the Ministry of Gender.
Minister Tarr indicated that her vision is to see improvement at the ministry of gender.
