The Ministry of Justice has filed a petition for a Writ of Mandamus at the Supreme Court against Arthur Gaye, Clerk of the 8th Judicial Circuit Court of Nimba County.
Assistant Minister for Litigation at the Ministry of Justice, Cllr. Wesseh A. Wesseh’s application to the High Court accused the Circuit Court Clerk of allegedly refusing to forward the case file of Han Amstrong to the 9th Judicial Circuit Court of Bong County.
Cllr. Wesseh claimed he provided funds to Arthur Gaye a month ago to relocate defendant Amstrong’s case file, but the clerk has reportedly failed to transfer the records.
Our Judicial Correspondent further said as a result of the Ministry of Justice application to the Court, Associate Justice Yussif Kaba has summoned the 8th Judicial Circuit Court’s Clerk Arthur Gaye to appear before him on Tuesday, October 12, surrounding the matter.
