A twenty-four hour ultimatum have been given to defense lawyer Cllr. Peter Kerkula to surrender the living body of suspect Mattie Mulbah of the Liberia Bank for Development and Investment at the Monrovia Court to face criminal prosecution or she risk being arrested.
Judge Jomah Jallah Monday according to our Judicial Correspondent announced his 24-hour demand in open court after Cllr. Peter Kerkula and his client allegedly refused to appear in Court for litigation.
The female suspect was expected in court on Monday to respond to her husband claim of double marriages after the Court issued notice of assignments to government and defense lawyers for hearing as provided by law.
Our Judicial Correspondent further said this is the second time the defense lawyer and his client have failed to appear in Court surrounding the case in question.
The LBDI employee’s husband Atty. Nathanael Mulbah is seeking her prosecution at the Monrovia City Court for entering into another relationship with a man identified as Gud Mensah without ending her legal contract with him as provided by law.
