President George Weah has put to shame all critics of Emmanuel Tolue who said he “will die poor”after he found and returned $50,000 USD plus $100,000 LRD to a businesswoman named Musu Yancy in Tappita City, Lower Nimba County.
During the engagement with the Liberian Youngest Integrity Hero, the Liberian leader promised to maintain the schalorship up to Master’s level even if he is not President.
Emmanuel who lost his father at the of age four was raised by his late Father’s niece Jestina who is a farmer. According to Ms. Justina, Emmanuel dropped out of school because they could not afford to pay the amount needed, she added that Emmanuel was given a motorbike to ride at the age of 15 in order to buttress his family’s earnings.
Emmanuel who was criticized and insulted by many people, including his peers for returning the money was also awarded $5,126 USD, 150 bags of cement plus an iPhone 13 on a TalkShow Program named Spoon Talk as an appreciation for his exceptional display of honesty.
He also was invited to the office of the Speaker of the Representatives Dr. Bhofal Chamber who met with Emmanuel Tolue and awarded him additional two Motorbikes and a Cadet Job at the Liberia National Legislature.
Meanwhile, the Liberia Anti-Corruption Commission and others International Organizations has celebrated and honored Emmanuel Tolue for honesty demonstrated.
