According to a report, there are attempts by some higher-ups within the Judiciary to remove the names of top employees who were affected by the Judiciary’s retirement.
About Two Hundred & Sixty-Three (263) Senior, Junior, and Middle employees have since been affected by the Judiciary’s departure list submitted by the Civil Service Agency, after reaching the exit age of 60 and above.
The top employees that higher-ups are allegedly protecting from leaving are Cllr. Elizabeth Nelson, Court Administrator, Henry Dolopei, Chief Court Inspector, Robert Coleman, Transport Director, Saye Zarwolo, Personal Director, and others.
The report is yet to be independently confirmed as judiciary authorities are silent about the matter.
Our Judicial Correspondent further revealed that the employees’ exit news comes at the time when Chief Justice Francis Korkpor is nine months away from leaving office consistent with Article 72(b) of the 1986 Constitution.
The law states “ The Chief Justice and Associate Justices of the Supreme Court and Judges of the Subordinate Courts of record shall be retired at the age of seventy (70).
