
Liberia’s representatives at the 2021/2022 CAF competitions LPRC Oilers and Monrovia Club Breweries have been drawn against Togo and Mali opponents in the preliminary draws which were held at CAF headquarters in Cairo on Friday, August 13, 2021.
Seven-time Liberian champion, LPRC Oilers was drawn against Togolese side Asko Kara.
In the CAF Confederations Cup, Liberia’s representative, Monrovia Club Breweries was drawn against Malian Binga FC.
Oilers – the only Liberian side to reach the CAF Champion League group stage, will host the first leg at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium in Monrovia between 10-12 September before traveling to Togo for the second leg between September 17-19.
The winner of the Oilers, Kara tie will play Moroccan side WAC for a place in the competition group stage.
In the Confederations Cup, Monrovia Club Breweries will play Malian side Binga FC in the first preliminary stage if they overcome the first hurdle, they will play the winner from San Pedro of Ivory Coast and ASFA Yennenga.
The first leg in the first preliminary round Champions League and Confederation Cup will be played between September 10 and 12, while the return leg will be held between September 17-19.
The second preliminary round will hold between October 15 and 17 for the first leg and the return leg will hold between October 22 and 24, 2021.
