Less than a year in his political sojourn, People’s Liberation Party Political Leader, Daniel Cassel has somersaulted on his philanthropy gesture to members of his party.
A leaked communication in the possession of Freedom News shows Dr. Cassel terminating all stipends to officials of the party.
According to the communication, stipends have been paid to all PLP Members in Executives and Leadership positions, and regular members shall be terminated and geared towards funding the party’s operations.
However, some members of the party have been taken aback by the decision, stating that it has the ability to carry away members from the party.
The party officials who spoke in anonymity with Freedom News said it will not be a good thing for their Political Leader to built their hopes and dash it in less than a year.
They are calling on Dr. Cassel to reverse his decision; else they will launch a campaign to scare people from coming to the party.
