
In another development, President George Weah Monday visited victims who were affected by the fire incident over the weekend on Water Street, Central Monrovia.
The Liberian leader during the visit expressed regret over the incident and called on officials of government to convene a meeting Tuesday to address the situation speedily.
Speaking during the visitation of the Liberian leader, Monrovia City Mayor Jefferson Kolijee described the President as a leader who cares for his people.
According to Mayor Koijee, President Weah is troubled about the situation and wants an immediate intervention into the matter.
The Monrovia City Mayor also called on citizens to avoid the blame game, and join efforts in addressing the situation, and urged the Management of Aminata & Sons to go beyond the statement issued, and take action.
Meanwhile, the President of the Fulani Business Association Mohammed Barrie lauded the Liberia Leader for reaching out to them in their difficult times.
He said the visit of President Weah shows that he has the business community in Liberia at heart.
