The Executive Director of the Institute for Research & Democratic Development, Matthias Yeaney has disclosed that the group will shortly release its report on the recovery process of the Coronavirus pandemic in Liberia.
Speaking Tuesday in Monrovia, the IREDD Executive Director said the report will consider the issue of transparency and accountability on the usage of funds intended to fight Covid-19 in the Country.
He also added that budgetary support to health facilities by the Government in the wake of the fight against the Coronavirus is a key factor in the report.
Matthias Yeaney at the same time noted that the institution is making huge interventions in rural Liberia aimed at lifting up the voices of ordinary Liberians, adding that IREDD has created more awareness about the local government act of 2009.
He furthered that the institution is also concerned about the decentralization of major services to citizens in other parts of the Country, only provided in Monrovia.
The Institute for Research & Democratic Development Executive Director also lauded partners of the institution for the level of support to the organization over the years.
