
The Lonestar of Liberia Head Coach Peter Butler has named a 22-man squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Nigeria and The Central African Republic.
The team is a mixture of home-based and others who play abroad.
Coach Butler who has been training with home-based players in Monrovia for the past two weeks has settled on seven of those players for the two crucial games.
They include Tommy Sango, Morlik Kelta, Alvin Maccornel, Sampson Dweh, Daniel Paye, Teah Dennis, and Carlos Williams.
Coach Butler has also named five new players,
Ibrahim Soumaoro, Justin Salmon, Abu Kamara, Ayouba Kosiah, and Mohammed Kamara.
Liberia is in Group C along with Nigeria, Cape Verde, and the Central African Republic.
The Lonestar will kick-off her campaign away to Nigeria on September 3rd before hosting the Central African Republic on September 6 at the Reunification Stadium in Cameroon in search of a ticket to the 2022 Qatar World Cup.
