The National Port Authority through its Public Relation Officer Malcolm Scott has sharply reacted to media reports allegedly linking the managing director of the NPA to corruption as well as conflict of interest.
Speaking at a News Conference Monday in Monrovia Mr. Scott said at no time, Hon. Bill Twehway ever has a shareholder of a company named and styled Creative Developers Incorporated.
According to him, the company contract with the Port of Buchanan was terminated in 2018 after his Boss noticed that it no longer has the capacity, logistics, and funding to operate.
Scott added that the NPA Managing Director is noted for teaching ethics in his days in the classroom adding that someone who thought ethics can’t fall prey to the Cole value of ethics.
The NPA Public Relation Officer challenged FrontPage Africa to show documents with the NPA Managing Director Name and Signature, calming him being a shareholder in said company.
He further noted that Deputy Controller Christian Bender who is also mentioned is not a shareholder of any company that operates in the Port.
