Several employees of the Liberian Judiciary are reportedly violating the GSA’s feet policy by using judiciary license plates on private vehicles.
GSA’s feet policy states “only government vehicle is allowed to use government license plate and not private vehicles”.
Despite this provision, some senior & junior employees’ of the Judiciary’s private vehicles are seen in the streets with the Judiciary plate in violation of the GSA Feet Policy.
The intent of the employee’s action according to our Judicial Correspondent apparently is to avoid paying tax, thereby depriving the government of Liberia of revenues.
The employees’ action comes at the time when Chief Justice Francis Korkpor has warned judicial employees on several occasions to desist or risk suspension.
