
President Weah donated 100 bags of 25kg rice and 100,000 Liberian dollars to the St. Timothy Hospital and an additional 100,000 and 100 bags of 25kg of rice to the Christian community of Grand cape mount county.
According to Jones Hanneh who works in the office of the President said the donation is the president’s way of identifying with the personnel at the Hospital in Grand cape mount county and the Christian community as they get closer to the celebration of Christmas on the 25 of December.
Jones said President Weah love the people of cape mount and also recognized the services the staff at the government hospital are rendering to the people of Cape mount and Liberia at large.
Receiving the donation on behalf of the citizens of Grand cape mount county the county superintendent Hon. Aaron Vincent express thanks and applications to the President for the donations.
According Hon. Vincent the donation is not a surprise from the president’s office that is something the president does, he always identified with the people during a time like this.
Marking remakes on behalf of the staff of the St. Timothy Hospital the OIC Mr. Marcus Massaquoi said this is the first time since his assignment in cape mount to see the president of the country donating to the government hospital and express gratitude to the president and promised that the donation will be used for it’s intended purpose.

President George Manneh Weah on Monday, December 20, 2021, made a donation of hundred 25kg bags of rice and a hundred thousand Liberian dollars to the Christian community in Kakata, Margibi County.
Making the presentation on behave of the President, Margibi county Superintendant Jerry Vannie said the gestures is president Weah’s own way of identifying with the Christian community for the Christmas celebration as he did for the Muslims during the time of Ramadan.
Superintendant Vannie further on behaves of the people of Margibi County and the local authority applauded President Weah for the donation towards the Christian community describing the president as “True Leader”.
He said he described the president as a true leader because the president always plays a twins mother role in terms of leadership, making reference to the president’s donation to the Muslim community during the holy month of Ramadan.
Receiving the donation of behaving of the Christian community in Margibi, the general secretary of the full gospel in the county, Rev. Benedict Pupo thanks president Weah and superintend Vannie for remembering the Christian community during this festive season.
He said the donation is the first of its kind from a Liberian leader during festive seasons and assures the president through the offices of the county superintendent that the gesture will be distributed fairly among the Christian community in the county.
