Montserrado County Senator Saah Joseph has begun the distribution of Medical equipment to various health facilities across Montserrado.
Speaking during the offloading of the equipment Monday in Gardnersville, Senator Joseph disclosed that there are five containers in the country with medical equipment to be distributed to local clinics.
He wants authorities of clinics in the County to begin providing documents to substantiate that they are legally operating, noting that it is his responsibility to ensure that medical equipment received from donors are delivered to heads of medical institutions in Liberia.
According to Senator Joseph, Clinics outside Montserrado County can also benefit from the donation if they follow the procedure, and provide vehicles to pick up the materials.
Also speaking during the distribution, one of the beneficiaries Julius Prowd from the St. Paul Bridge Community clinic said it is not the first donation Senator Saah Joseph has made to the Clinic, stressing that his institution is grateful for the Senator’s thoughtfulness and hope he continues his humanitarian work.
It can be recalled earlier this year, the Montserrado County Senator also donated assorted medical materials to various Public health facilities across Liberia.
