Nimba County District-Eight Representative Larry Younquoi has announced his intention to re-contest the District seat in the 2023 Legislative elections, after previously announcing that he will not recontest the seat.
According to Representative Younquoi, his decision is based on calls from residents of the District to continuously represent them at the level of the Legislature.
The Nimba County District-Eight Lawmaker noted that his statement was not from the people, as such, he will not refuse called by his people to re-contest in the district seat in the 2023 Legislative Elections.
At the same time, Representative Younquoi has begun the rehabilitation of several roads in District-Eight Nimba County, ahead of this year’s rainy season.
Speaking with Freedom News via mobile phone from the District, Representative Younquoi further noted that the ongoing road rehabilitation, when completed, will help to boost economic activities in the District.
