Health Minister Dr. Wilhelmina Jallah has announced a significant decline in the number of coronavirus cases as of January 20 this year.
Addressing the ministry of information special press briefing Friday in Monrovia Dr. Jallah said the country has recorded 5 coronavirus cases since the 20 of January adding that the cases have decreased as compared to last year
The health Minister at the same time encourages citizens to take their vaccination to completely eradicate covid-19 from the country and continue to follow all necessary health protocols.
At the same time commenting on the new Kru town stampede Dr. Jallah said out of the 29 dead bodies 27 have been identified by relatives while 9 have been removed by their loved ones and 2 left at the hospital.
Dr. Jallah further that people who want to render help to the families of victims who sustain sustained from the stampede can contact the redemption hospital.
