The Medical Director of the Phebe Hospital in Gbarnga, Bong County has confirmed that Liberia Finance Minister Samuel Tweah and others were taken to the hospital for treatment after being involved in an accident around Ganglota Town, Lofa County.
According to reports, the accident occurred when the Minister was on his way back to Monrovia a day after he served as the keynote speaker at the 5th graduation ceremony of the Lofa County Community College in Voinjama City.
The report further revealed that the Minister’s wife and one of his security guards sustained minor injuries.
But, speaking interview via mobile from the Phebe Hospital in the County, the Medical Director of the Hospital, Dr. Jefferson Saybay said the patient’s conditions were stable including Minister Samuel Tweh.
He revealed Minister along with another left for Monrovia after receiving treatment at the Hospital in Bong County.
