A motion seeking to return property and to suppress evidence has accused three officers of the Liberia Drug Enforcement Agency of allegedly stealing several valuable items from two Liberian citizens.
Dilemma George and Prince Tamba alleged that officers Papee Semah, Mohammed Kaita, and Victor Cole stole their gold ring and chain along with $1,500 United States Dollars from them while effecting an arrest order.
George and Tamba’s assertion against the three DEA Officers according to our Judicial Correspondent was contained in a six-count motion filed before the Stipendiary Magistrate of the West Point Magisterial Court seeking to return property and to suppress evidence.
Prosecuting lawyers have since denied George and Tamba’s claims against the law enforcement officers, saying they are avoiding criminal prosecution after they were caught with drugs.
Our Judicial Correspondent further said that the Stipendiary Magistrate of the West Point Magisterial Court has reserved a ruling in connection to Dilemma George and Prince Tamba’s claim against the DEA Officers following a legal argument from the party’s lawyers.
